Well, no I didn't, but Harriet did in the RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch. I would say she was lucky, but it isn't luck, it's skill. Harriet's full list is 16 bird species including great spotted woodpecker, buzzard being mobbed by crows, flock of black headed gulls, nuthatches, goldcrests, coal tit, blue tits on the new bird feeders, great tits, long-tailed tits, robins, chaffinches, magpies, woodpigeon, blackbirds, and goldfinches. She has also sent us some pictures taken at that time. The Hellebore is particularly fine. The third picture is of our friends from One Green World from last weekend, clearing out the pond for us when it was nice and sunny.
