Early July's work

1st photo, the blackcurrant and redcurrant beds after I weeded them. The black matting keeps out most weeds, but not the horsetail, which can grow roots of up to two metres!

2nd photo, red hollyhocks looking splendid in the Mediterranean garden.

3rd photo, feverfew in the herb garden. Historically, people have used it for the treatment of fevers, migraines, arthritis, psoriasis and allergies.
