Yesterday at Volunteers' Meeting

Around twenty of us got together yesterday afternoon to share our thoughts about our work. Harriet, who records our wildlife, had first taken part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch before joining the meeting. Her is her entry:

"Today our Centre did its bit for Citizen Science by taking part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, the world's largest wildlife survey. On our site we saw blue tits, great tits, goldcrests, nuthatches, a robin, blackbirds, magpies, carrion crows, wood pigeons & lesser black-backed gulls, and also heard long-tailed tits and ring-necked parakeets, 11 species in total."
