Red, red apples

Plenty of work done to help prepare for our Autumn Fair on the afternoon of Saturday, 15th September. Here are Due Red Melba Apples which are getting impatient and falling now. They appear like jewels in the grass. They originate from Canada, 1898, as a lovely early dessert apple and we hope to be able to keep some for sale.

More work also for volunteers preparing plants for sale through to labels going on to various jams made from our own fruit. See Events for more information. You'll be very welcome.
